You do not need to be experienced in psychometrics to take advantage of the benefits; that’s what we are here for. In fact, Bureau Service Assessment is our core business. This is a simple, efficient and cost effective method of assessing people, and it enables ANY organisation - regardless of size - to take advantage of this specialised HR technique. There is no major capital expenditure involved, and the training required can be completed quickly.
 Quite simply, you and/or colleagues learn the principles of test administration, and then assume control of the actual assessment procedure. Although we are always available to advise on which tests are most appropriate for your needs, we don't need to be there to constantly 'hold your hand'. This keeps costs down, and ensures that you are always an integral part of the whole assessment process.
What you don't have with Bureau Service Assessment is access to scoring keys. Instead, once answer sheets have been completed by candidates, they are returned to us for scoring and interpretation. We'll work with you as much as you need to help you make sense of the results, and we'll even give telephone feedback to candidates. Although a lot depends on the kind of exercise you are running, the final reports are normally available within 24 hours. Reports are, of course, specifically tailored to the purpose.
The option to become fully trained and to set up completely as an 'in-house' practitioner is always available. In fact, right from the outset, we'll tell you the benefits of achieving a formal qualification. If you want to talk to previous delegates, we'll put you in touch. If you don't go for full training straight away (and most don't), then periodically, we'll check that the reasons why you didn't still hold.
 Test Administrator training is the minimum required standard to access psychometric materials. The next level, the Level A Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing allows you to use the majority of basic reasoning / aptitude tests, while Intermediate Level B qualifies you in the use of one or more substantive personality instruments.
