The Executive Recruitment - Process in Detail
POSITION SURVEY
Initial discussions are held with the client to gain maximum understanding of the vacant position and the characteristics of the person required. A thorough knowledge of the company and industry is also gained at this stage. We will ask you to complete a questionnaire, which will help us to define the Ideal Candidate for the position (in personality terms).
ADVERTISEMENT
The advertisement is drawn up and the most suitable media selected. There is no expense involved in drawing up the advertisement, or for writing copy. Only actual newspaper rates are passed on to the client.
RESPONSES
Interested applicants are invited to telephone (to ensure maximum response) and supply a Curriculum Vitae. Initial screening allows a broad shortlist to be presented to the client.
STANDARD APPLICATION FORM
All candidates invited for interview complete a 'fixed format' application form. This ensures that all relevant data is uniformly collected at an early stage.
INTERVIEW
A vital part of the short-listing procedure, this in-depth, structured interview provides an initial profile of the applicant. This stage also gives candidates an opportunity to seek further information on the position. Notes are taken during the interview and comments are provided.
PSYCHOLOGICAL APPRAISAL
